Scott Shlecter brings his decades of business and investing experience to the benefit of our clients.
Scott’s academic credentials include graduating Phi Beta Kappa from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a degree in Management. He went on the receive a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard, where he was recognized as a Baker Scholar.
Scott began his career in the management consulting industry, where he was a vice president at Bain & Company, a leading international strategy firm. He went on to found the U. S. operations of LEK Consulting, also a leader in the field. Perspectives gained from these positions have proven to be of immense value in making sense of the investment world.
Scott has been working in the investment management field since 2002, where he was a Portfolio Manager at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors. Scott launched Shlecter Wealth Management in 2013.
Scott ran the business affairs of Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills for 8 years as Treasurer and President. He and his wife Leslie have five adult children, including Jason.
