Pierre Gentin

Pierre Gentin is Global General Counsel of McKinsey & Company. He was previously a partner in the law firm of Cahill Gordon & Reindel, spent nearly two decades at Credit Suisse as a Managing Director in senior legal and risk positions, and served in the U.S.  Department of Justice as Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York.  Pierre is a Trustee of the Practising Law Institute, the Touro Synagogue Foundation, and Princeton University's Center for Public Policy and Finance, and he has served on many of the World Economic Forum’s global agenda councils. He co-edited a book on the mediation of complex financial services disputes, has lectured for many years at law and business schools in the U.S. and Europe, and currently teaches at the Wharton School of Business.  He attended Princeton University and Columbia Law School.
