Mr. Berman leads North America Distribution for Insight Investment, the ~$1Trillion investment management group within Bank of New York Mellon. Mr. Berman is responsible for development of Insight's client growth strategy and delivery of the firm's comprehensive investment solutions to institutional investors, wealth managers, and intermediaries across North America. Mr. Berman also serves on the firm's US Management Committee. He joined Insight in 2023.

Prior to Insight, Mr. Berman spent nearly 17-years at BlackRock in various leadership roles, most recently as Managing Director, Co-Head of BlackRock's US Pensions Business. Prior to this role, Mr. Berman was head of the Canada client business responsible for delivering the firm's comprehensive public and private market investment solutions to investors across Canada. Previously, Mr. Berman led illiquid strategy development for BlackRock Alternative Specialists in the US & Canada focused on building and delivering the firm's global alternative investment platform. Mr. Berman also held leadership roles in the Financial Institutions Group working with insurance companies across North America and served on several firm governance bodies including the US & Canada Institutional client business Executive Committee and the Canada Executive Committee. Mr. Berman held previous roles at Ahab Capital Management, Inc. and Drake Management, LLC.

Mr. Berman holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, with high distinction, from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School, where he was a Prince Scholar. Jeffrey is a CFA charterholder and a member of the New York State Bar.
