Jake grew up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan before heading South to escape to the sunshine for a few years. After attending The University of Texas at Austin for undergrad (where he took more Jewish studies than his actual minor), he elected to stay in the Sun Belt for a little longer and chose to attend Vanderbilt Law School. At Vanderbilt he has pursued a Law and Business certificate in advance of returning to New York to practice corporate law. He also serves as Vice President of Honor Council and previously was President of the Cork and Tap Society. He and two Jewish classmates took runner up in a soup cook off 1L year making Matzo Breyer soup.
