RossFreedman is Co-founder, former CEO, and currently Board Member at Rightpoint. Ross’ fundamental belief is that every company is either an experience company today or will need to reinvent themselves to become one. Under Ross’ leadership, Rightpoint has grown to become an award-winning digital consultancy with more than 800 people across 12 offices globally (~300 in Chicago HQ). In2015, Rightpoint raised $55M from private equity firm, Stella Point Capital, and subsequently acquired/integrated 4 companies from 2016-2018. In 2019, Rightpoint was sold to Genpact(NYSE:G), a global professional services and business outsourcing company.After the company was sold, Ross stayed on as CEO for 2 years and moved to aBoard Advisory role as of January 2022.
Throughout his career, Ross advised many of the most iconic brands in the world (General Motors, Goldman Sachs, Hulu, 3M, Abbott Labs, and others) and executed successful digital transformation programs for these organizations. Through his leadership,Ross consulted with these brands and created world-class customer and employee experience solutions in areas such as multi-channel digital marketing, web and mobile digital products, CRM, cloud, and analytics.
Prior to co-founding Rightpoint, Ross co-founded Wired Matrix, a Chicago-based systems integration and technology consulting firm. Wired Matrix focused on designing and implementing software solutions for middle-market companies. InOctober 2002, Wired Matrix merged with Chicago-based technology consulting firm and spin-off of Andersen, West Monroe Partners.
Ross began his career as a software developer within the Advanced TechnologyGroup of Arthur Andersen's Business Consulting practice. During his years withAndersen, Ross helped several global businesses and government agencies solve complex enterprise business and technology challenges facing their industry. AtAndersen, Ross also built a strong foundation of technology skills, domain industry experience, and an appreciation for outstanding client service.
Ross received business and computer science degrees from the University ofWisconsin-Madison. As a pioneer and a visionary in creating breakthrough digital experiences for Fortune 500companies and startups, Ross continues to shape the future of digital and redefine the experience economy through design thinking and tech innovation.
