Chief Marketing Officer; Skydance

Rebecca Mall is CMO of Skydance Media where she oversees all aspects of the company’s marketing efforts including streaming, theatrical, animation and TV.
She recently joined Skydance from WME where she was a senior marketing executive responsible for advocating and advising clients on marketing strategy including distribution, creative, media, digital and overall strategy.
Prior to WME, Rebecca Mall served as the co-president of Domestic Marketing at Paramount Pictures, overseeing digital, media, brand strategy and public relations. She joined the studio in August 2016. She was instrumental in marketing films including Arrival, Daddy’s Home 2, Book Club, A Quiet Place, What Men Want, Bumblebee and Mission Impossible. She was also focused on creating a sustainable and future proof data strategy that helped inform key marketing decisions and improve the efficacy of all media.
Prior to Paramount, she spent six years at Google/YouTube, where she worked on the company’s digital partnerships with film studios and TV networks. She served as Head of Industry for the entertainment group and helped studios build their digital marketing strategy, as it grew from a small portion of a campaign to the largest line item in a marketing budget. She is the recipient of the Google Gold award, a recognition earned by the top 2% of Google employees.
Mall holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson, where she focused on entertainment marketing while working at Universal Studios in Category Management. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with honors from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Prior to business school, she spent six years in TV development and production at ABC, NBC and the NBC Cable networks.
