Michael Rolnick has worked in the technology sector for nearly two decades as an operating executive, founder/entrepreneur and venture capital investor. His experience ranges from collaborating with (co)founders / management teams in early stage technology opportunities to building and managing digital businesses within a global media company.

Most recently, Michael has been working with a select group of companies as Executive Chairman, CEO and/or Founding Investor (in some cases all three).  This companies include Cadence13, Inc. (a leading podcast network), Unifi Labs, Inc. (cloud-based content management system for building content) and Giga Omni Media, Inc. (integrated media company focused on emerging technology).

Prior to these engagements, Michael was the Chief Digital Officer / Head of Digital at NEWS Corp / Dow Jones (reporting to the CEO). In this capacity, he drove the strategic development and execution for Dow Jones’ core $400m+ institutional and consumer businesses, which includes the Wall Street Journal, MarketWatch and Barrons. Michael also was responsible for the company’s global business development and management activities, which generates over $100m+ in partner-related revenue through audience, brand, content and product partnerships. The business optimization activities, for which Michael was also responsible, served to enhance growth and profitability in the businesses.  

Michael is also active in a number of community charities and philanthropic organizations, including the Jewish Family & Children’s Service, the Hillsborough School Foundation and a variety of other worthy causes.

Michael holds an MBA from the University of Michigan, an MS from the London School of Economics, and a BA from the University of Michigan.
