Matthew Siegler is the Senior Vice President for Managed Care and Patient Growth at NYC Health + Hospitals (H+H) and the Chief Executive Officer of the HHC Accountable Care Organization (ACO). Mr. Siegler is responsible for the $11b system’s patient and revenue growth strategies, negotiating the system’s payer contracts, overseeing its value based care operations, sitting on the board of its 600,000 member subsidiary health plan Metroplus, and leading its successful Medicare Shared Savings Program ACO. Mr. Siegler also serves as the CEO of One City Health – H+H’s Performing Provider System under New York State’s DSRIP Program.
Matt joined H+H from Kaiser Permanente where he led key strategic and advocacy efforts across Kaiser’ commercial and government business, with a focus on public exchanges, large national employer groups, and planning for federal efforts to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. Earlier, Mr. Siegler served in the Obama Administration as an operational, policy, and communications leader on the staff of the White House Domestic Policy Council. He has also served on the staff of Congressman Henry Waxman, the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. Originally from Los Angeles, California, he is a graduate of Harvard Law School, Johns Hopkins University, and Harvard College.
