Marc Hoffman is a Hospitality industry veteran who worked from the ground up and built a career mastering many facets of the business. Mr. Hoffman began his career as a student at the other CIA: The Culinary Institute of America, and today serves on its board of directors.

In fact, Marc has had three careers. The first was a 30-year career with Marriott International and The Ritz-Carlton, which concluded after developing and operating the largest non-gaming resort in North America, Grande Lakes Orlando. Mr. Hoffman then became Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President for Sunstone Hotel Investors, where he led Asset Management, Design, Construction and Acquisitions from 2006 to 2021. At this four-billion-dollar REIT, Mr. Hoffman worked with his team to invest in and recreate four- and five-star hotels and resorts. After retiring for a few days in May of 2021, Mr. Hoffman set up shop as Principal of Gleneagle Hospitality Advisors, a consulting group for top hotel brands and investors. Marc resides in Laguna Beach and can be found most mornings having coffee at Zinc Cafe.

Mr. Hoffman received an AOS degree in culinary arts from the CIA in Hyde Park NY, and a Bachelor of Science in Travel and Hospitality Tourism from Florida International University in Miami.
