Dr. Lawrence Schimmel is equal parts medical professional, business executive, and healthcare visionary, seamlessly combining all three into the leadership he has brought to his healthcare ventures. With his vast knowledge of the healthcare industry, Larry has been a visionary in the design, creation, and management of Clinigence Health, a national technology company that services the entire healthcare ecosystem.

Larry was the founding chairman of Professional Bank in Coral Gables, Florida and continues to sit on its Board of Directors. Prior To Professional Bank, he was the founding chairman of Megabank as well as a director of Executive National Bank. He was a co-founder and CEO of Allied Health Group and Florida Specialty Networks, national medical management businesses, with over $500mm of medical care under management, which later sold to Magellan Health Services in 1997.

In addition to his lengthy business career, he practiced as a general and vascular surgeon, held a management role with the South Florida Surgical Group and has consulted for physicians, hospitals, healthcare delivery systems, and Fortune 500 companies.

Larry received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the New Jersey College of Medicine and conducted his post-graduate training at the University of Miami.
