Jim Hausberg, a Managing Director and Partner, joined HighTower from Presidio Wealth Management where he developed and advised his clients on asset allocation and portfolio construction. Over his 30 year career in the finance industry, James has built a reputation for his investment knowledge and integrity.

Before joining The Presidio Group in 2005, he held wealth advisory positions at firms including Credit Suisse and Bear Stearns. He manages $400 million of client assets and leads HighTower's expansion in the Los Angeles area. He has over 30 years experience managing accounts on a discretionary and non-discretionary basis utilizing equities, fixed income and alternative investments. He served as the Managing Director of The Presidio Group. He worked closely with wealthy individuals and family groups to develop a comprehensive portfolio strategy that utilizes an asset allocation plan as a core investment foundation. He served at CS First Boston/ DLJ, Dabney Resnick, Prudential Securities, Bear Stearns, and Shearson Lehman. He holds his Series 5, 7, and 63 licenses.
