David Nevas serves as Managing Director of buy-side advisory firm, Razorhorse Capital,  and has over 20 years of investing, operating and advisory experience with early and growth-stage software companies. He was previously a Partner at Edison Partners, venture capital and growth equity investment firm, where he was involved in over twenty financings during his 12-year tenure. While at Edison Partners, David sat on the board of 7 portfolio companies and generated a top-quartile investment track record. David began his career as a software developer as a member of the product development team at Bookingzone.com, a mobile eCommerce startup and was involved working with several startups building early web and mobile solutions. He then went on to work for PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM as a database developer designing systems for high volume credit card transaction processing and monitoring. After leaving IBM, David joined A.C. Lordi, a risk & compliance solution provider, to help build an integrated solution for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and helped scale that business through a successful exit to Chicago Growth Partners.

David has been active in numerous regional VC and private equity organizations, and has frequently served as a committee member for PACT, AGC Philadelphia, and Ben Franklin Technology Partners. He is currently a member of the Ben Franklin IT ERC Committee. David received a BS from Lehigh University and an MBA from New York University.
