David Nachman is a three-time CEO and experienced growth-oriented B2B technology executive, having spent the majority of his career in high growth venture capital and private equity backed companies. Currently, David is the CEO of FastSpring, a $50m+ rapidly growing eCommerce platform utilized by global software companies. Previously, David was CEO of Vision, a leading provider of citizen facing technology solutions to local government, where he doubled the business in three years prior to selling the company to a portfolio company of Vista Equity. Prior to Vision, David served as Chief Business Officer of Velocify, a $30m+ SaaS company, where he was responsible for Marketing, Business Development, Product Management and strategic growth initiatives. During his tenure, Velocify grew over 50% per year. David also served as CEO of Phoenix Energy Technologies, a pioneering energy management company. David was also an early executive at HireRight, an employment screening company, where he was responsible for Marketing, Product Management, Business Development and Strategy. At HireRight, he formed successful alliances with companies such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, IBM, Accenture, and Monster that propelled revenue from $3m to more than $200 million over eight years and led to a successful IPO.
In addition to his operating roles, David served as an Operating Partner at Marlin Equity Partners, a multi-billion dollar private equity firm, where he focused on investments in enterprise software and technology-enabled business services companies. Earlier in his career, David was a senior consultant at McKinsey and Company, and worked as an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, and Kidder, Peabody & Company.
He received an MBA from the University of Chicago (with honors) and a BA, Magna Cum Laude, from UCLA.
