Alex Slusky founded Vector Capital in 1997 and serves as its CEO. Vector Capital manages over $4 billion dedicated to transformational value-oriented investments in technology companies. Alex’s areas of expertise include infrastructure and applications software, internet services, corporate spinouts, and technology buyouts. Alex currently serves on the board of directors of Cheetah Digital, Cambium Networks, and WatchGuard Technologies. Alex was previously a director and lead investor in many technology companies including Corel, LANDesk Software, SafeNet, Savi Technology, Technicolor S.A., and Register.com. Alex also serves on the investment committee of the Vector Credit Opportunity Fund.
Prior to Vector, Alex led the technology equity practice at Ziff Brothers Investments, managing a portfolio of public and private technology investments. Before joining Ziff Brothers, Alex was at New Enterprise Associates, McKinsey & Company, and Microsoft.
Alex has a B.A. in Economics, summa cum laude from Harvard University, and an MBA with high distinction (Baker Scholar) from the Harvard Business School.
