Sara is a 2L at the University of Connecticut School of Law. She received her B.A. in Journalism and History from the University of Connecticut in May 2017. Following her graduation, Sara worked for two years as a paralegal in Manhattan. She is interested in pursuing family or labor and employment litigation.
Matt EpsteinVice PresidentHometown: West Hartford
Matt graduated from Colby College in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Government and Russian Studies. In college, Matt worked for the Dean of Students office and participated in several Colby Hillel events. He also was on the varsity men’s squash and club water polo teams. After college, he worked for over two years as a paralegal at Seyfarth Shaw in the Business Immigration practice group. In addition to serving as Vice President of the Jewish Law Students Association, Matt is a member of the Mock Trial Society and Connecticut Moot Court Board. He is interested in employment and international law. This summer, Matt is a Legal Intern at HubSpot in its Employment group. Outside of school, Matt loves to hike, travel, and discover new TV shows to watch with his friends.

I received my BA in Political Science from Stony Brook University in May 2020. I am passionate about Jewish advocacy and have interned at the Simon Wiesenthal Center, the Zionist Organization of America, the Jewish Federations, of North America. I am currently a research assistant studying the impact of technology in international human rights law.
