Born and raised in SoCal. I attended UC Santa Barbara for undergraduate where I double majored in Statistics and Economics. After doing economic research at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for two years, I moved out to LA to attend UCLA Law. Very happy to be part of the Jewish community here!
Shauna SarsharCo-PresidentHometown: Los Angeles
My name is Shauna Sarshar and I'm a 3L at UCLA School of Law. Since I was in middle school, my dream was to attend UCLA for law school and I could not be happier to be here. Jewish Organizations (like JGSI, Hillel, Chabad, etc.) have been a big part of my academic life. When I moved out for college, these organizations helped me adjust to my new environment while giving me a sense of safety through Judaism, and helped me stay connected to my roots. I started UCLA Law as a 1L representative for JGSI while also participating in the JGSI Fellowship, and I'm honored to now be serving as Co-President for the second time.
