I am originally from Bucks County, PA and was fortunate enough to have lived in Jerusalem, Israel for the past few years. I now reside in Passaic, NJ with my husband Aharon and our two year old daughter. I look forward to continuing my involvement with JLSA this year!

I am originally from Glen Rock, NJ and moved to Buffalo, NY to pursue my undergraduate degree at the University at Buffalo. After some time away, it is good to be back home. Last year I served as a 1L representative for JLSA. I look forward to continuing my support for the organization and our community here at Rutgers Law School through meaningful programming!

I am a Second Year law student finishing up an internship at small law firm that deals with investment and insurance oriented law. Im from Larchmont New York originally, moved to DC for my American University undergraduate degree in History with a prelaw minor. During college I interned with the Non-Profit legal organizations Lawyers Alliance for New York and Legal Services of the Hudson Valley. A year ago before Law School I worked as a MASA Israel teaching fellow in the town of Pisgat Zev in Jerusalem teaching 3rd through 6th grade Israeli children English. I briefly attended Yeshivat Machon Meir for several months before moving to Newark for Law School.
Eliana Schachter3L representativeHometown: Los Angeles, California
Eliana was born in Los Angeles, California and recently moved to Waterbury, Connecticut. She received her Bachelor's in Liberal Arts through Excelsior College and now attends Rutgers Law School in Newark, anticipated graduation date in June 2021. An internship with the District Attorney's office in Burbank, CA inspired Eliana to go to law school. Though she explored various fields of law and particularly enjoyed international law and education law, as her last year of law school comes to a close, Eliana finds herself coming full circle in pursuing a career as a prosecutor. Eliana also enjoys working and volunteering at non-profit organizations including a summer camp for children with cancer and chronic illnesses and group homes for adults with special needs.
