Hi! My name is Joelle Perlin and I am a second-year Master of Social Work student at Columbia University. I am on the Advanced Clinical Practice Track and am concentrating in Mental Health, Health, and Disabilities. I grew up going to Jewish Day School, Jewish Sleep-away Camp, and was involved in Kadima, USY, and BBYO in middle and high school. I also attended birthright when I was a Sophomore in college at Elon University with Hillel. At Elon University, I was involved with both Chabad and Hillel. In my time at Hillel, I held four board positions. I am currently one of the co-leaders of the Jewish Caucus. The Jewish Caucus at Columbia University School of Social Work is a place where Jewish students are able to discuss how both Judaism and Social Work play into their lives and their professional careers.
