Film and Television Producer

Monica Levinson is a highly accomplished film and television producer known for her collaborative work with top innovators in the entertainment industry.

In 2022, Levinson joined the esteemed banner Color Force as an in-house producer, where she currently serves as the Executive Producer of the FX limited series "SAY NOTHING," a gripping portrayal of the Northern Ireland Troubles based on the book by Patrick Radden Keefe. Additionally, she holds the role of Co-Executive Producer on two other FX limited series: "CLIPPED" and "AARON HERNANDEZ: AMERICAN SPORTS STORY."

Prior to her tenure at Color Force, Levinson produced a trio of notable films, including the award-winning global sensation "Borat Subsequent Movie film," the Netflix hit Bill Burr's “Old Dads," and her directorial debut, the documentary "The Stories of Us."

From 2014 to 2019, Levinson served as President of Production at ShivHans Pictures, an independent production and finance company. During her tenure, she oversaw the development of a unique slate of film and television projects, producing critically acclaimed and award-winning films such as "Beirut," "Trumbo," and "Captain Fantastic," among others. Notably, she also served as an executive producer on "The Trial of Chicago 7."

Levinson's journey in the entertainment industry began in broadcast news in her hometown of Washington D.C. She transitioned into narrative storytelling while collaborating on feature films with visionary directors such as Alan J. Pakula, Sidney Lumet, and Michael Mann.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Levinson is actively involved in industry organizations, serving on the boards/executive committees of Women in Film, the Producers Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Women's Production Society, and the Syracuse Alumni Regional Council. She is a member of esteemed industry associations including the Directors Guild of America, Producers

Guild of America, and the Television Academy. Recognized as a "Women To Watch" by Jewish Women International, Levinson is dedicated to mentoring emerging filmmakers and advocating for the independent film industry through her involvement with INDIE.
