As the Chief Legal officer of Subway®, Ilene oversees all legal matters for Subway and its subsidiaries. As the primary legal advisor to the CEO, the company’s executive and senior management teams and the Board of Directors, she leads and manages legal, corporate and regulatory compliance functions. Ilene advises on major contracts and transactions, regulatory compliance, financing agreements, litigation, and outside counsel management. She also serves as the Secretary of the Board of Directors.

Prior to joining Subway, Ilene was a Shareholder with the Law Firm of Greenberg Traurig. Her practice was concentrated in various areas of commercial real estate. Ilene was also Director & Senior Attorney with Burger King Corporation.

Ilene is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law. Her undergraduate studies were at Syracuse University Ilene is licensed to practice law in Florida and is authorized in house counsel in Connecticut.

Ilene supports several organizations including the AJC, United Way ACLU, ADL, and she currently sits on the board and is the Secretary of the Subway® Cares Foundation.
